Helping Kids Cope

Dr. Dobson asks parents to think back and remember what it's like to be teased by peers about things that can't be helped, such as the size of one's nose or the color of his or her hair, or really anything that makes one "different" in someone else's eyes. A little well-placed empathy from a parent who's been there can go a long way toward helping kids cope.
